Policies Danzarte
Tuition is due the first week of every month, you have until the 7th to pay cash, check, credit card or via automatic payment. A 10dll fee will be charged to each student if tuition is not covered by the first week. These payments remain the same regardless of the number of weeks in a month or holidays. Tuition is non refundable, non transferable between students, and not credited due to missed or dropped classes. Student’s who wont be able to come back to classes, please make sure you let us know, so they can be dropped out of the system and not be charged. If a student is absent for more than two weeks you will be dropped automatically from class and you will loose your spot, if you want to come back you will be asked to pay the registration once more. (If for any reason you will be missing for a long period of time, or there is an illness we ask you to please let us know with time, therefore we can be flexible). Unpaid students will not be admitted into class or be allowed to participate in any recitals. Students are permitted to transfer from one class to another based on space availability without fees. In addition there is a registration fee per year depending the number of family members enrolled.
Please stay informed by checking the bulletin board and the newsletter that will be send via email every month. It is the parent’s responsibility to follow up and keep up-to-date with the studio’s current events.
No children are to be left unattended to play on sidewalks or in the perimeter landscaping surrounding Danzart Academy. Danzart will not be responsible for unattended children. You must escort your child from the studio to your car. Danzart Academyteachers & staff do not provide Day Care and are not responsible for unattended children before or after class.
Danzart uniform is required for all dance classes. This enables teachers to properly observe the student’s body movements for correct form and technique. Hair must be pulled off the face into a ponytail or a bun for ballet. Absolutely NO JEWELRY as it is a hazard. Dance shoes should only be worn inside the studio. No food in the studio. Water is OK.
The dance and music year begins in August and ends in June. All enrolled students must re-register during the month of May for the following year.
I understand and acknowledge that, from time to time throughout the school year, my child's picture or video might be taken while participating in classes and/or functions involving danzart academy. I do hereby authorize danzart to use these photographs or videos for the purposes of illustration, advertisement and publication in any manner whatsoever.
An all school dance and music recital is held in June. We also have a parents open class demonstration once a year, where they can take a look on what their children have been learning. Summer workshops are in July which are held in danzart academy.
